Welcome to Woodinville Junior Tackle Football!
Football provides the opportunity for your youth to learn the game, team work, build confidence, commitment, make new friends and have fun! This experience will prepare each player for high school athletics by teaching them safety techniques, fundamentals, and rules of the game.
Tackle football is open to students usually going into 3rd through 8th grade who are a resident in the service area of Woodinville High school. To verify where your player will go to high school visit Northshore School District Boundaries Map
Greater Eastside Junior Football Association (GEJFA) has 5 levels of tackle football:
o Rookies Tackle Football (Usually 3rd & 4th Grade) depending on weight and age points
o Cubs Tackle Football (Usually 5th Grade) depending on weight and age points
o Sophomore Tackle Football (Usually 6th Grade) depending on weight and age points
o Junior Varsity Tackle Football (Usually 7th Grade) depending on weight and age points
o Varsity Tackle Football (Usually 8th Grade) depending on weight and age points
WJFA strives to find the safest fit for your player based on the GEJFA Age/Weight chart and a number of other factors. The Registration system will use that chart to temporarily place players into levels until the information can be verified by the Player's Rep and the Board of Directors. Please understand official rosters will not be set until end of July and even then players can change levels based on the most recent weigh in.
If your player registers for Rookies or Cubs and changes levels, you will be responsible for the difference in cost or WJFA will refund you the overage.
If you have any questions, please contact WJFAInfo.
